We drank her oil to our health.
She taught me to love her,
She taught me to love her kind,
She taught me that a tree can make miracles.
And if miracles confirm sanctity,
If miracles confirm divinity,
Then my God is an olive tree.
This painting is titled “MY GOD IS AN OLIVE TREE” and it is a tribute to the olive trees I grew up around which infused me with the love of nature and trees.
